Press

“The Fab Faux don’t wear goofy wigs, they don’t get decked out in phony Sgt. Pepper’s uniforms and they don’t talk between songs with bogus British accents. But they just might be the most authentic live interpreters of the music of the Beatles on the planet.”

“The most accomplished band in the Beatles-cover business”

David Fricke, Rolling Stone Magazine

“‘There is so much magic in those [Beatles] records that it seemed to me the reason to have a band at all would not just be to be another ‘Beatle band’ but to actually bring those records to the stage.’”

– Bill Dean, The Gainesville Sun

More Press Quotes

“There is nothing more fun than watching these guys play every little nuance. I wish I was a woman so I could express my gratitude … it’s so damn sexy.”

Howard Stern, The Howard Stern Show

“Which is the best Beatle band in the world? The Fab Faux!”

– Bill Heckle,
owner The Cavern Club, Producer of Beatleweek Annual Festival, Liverpool, UK

Bios

A labor of love for five of the hardest working musicians in New York City, the authoritative Beatles cover band performs superior reproductions, throwing you back to when Beatlemania was all the rage including full-album performances of Sergeant Pepper’s, The White Album, Abbey Road, Revolver, and Rubber Soul and dedicated to live reproduction of the entire Beatles’ repertoire. The band consists of five strong lead voices, soaring harmonies, and exceptional multi-instrumental talents augmented by the four-piece Hogshead Horns (featuring alumni of the Blues Brothers and Saturday Night Live bands) and the Crème Tangerine Strings (violin and cello).

Boasting the high visibility musicians Will Lee from The Late Show with David Letterman and Jimmy Vivino from Late Night with Conan O’Brien, as well as Rich Pagano, Frank Agnello, Jack Petruzzelli, highly sought after session musicians, this is without a doubt the most musically satisfying Beatles tribute band on the scene today.

Since their formation in 1998, the band has played to sold-out houses in the New York region at the China Club, the Bottom Line, the Bowery Ballroom, the Count Basie Theater, Irving Plaza, Hammerstein Ballroom, and the World Financial Center, as well as in Arizona, Atlanta, Los Angeles (at the annual NBA All-star Game after party), and Liverpool – where they have headlined shows at the annual International Mersey Beatle Convention.
